Description
Chichen Itza dates back to 495 A.D. when it was founded by Itza Mayans who migrated from small communities of the Island of Cozumel.
Travel to Chichen Itza aboard of a luxury air-conditioned bus with onboard bathroom and five tables in the back. Onboard you will be served a delicious continental breakfast and free beverages during the trip. Before reaching Chichen Itza, you will stop-by at Eptun where you will be able to stretch you legs, use the facilities and browse for souvenirs. As you arrive to the archaeological site, the guide will take you through the most important buildings and give you any details about the sites history and the ancient Mayan culture. When finished, you will enjoy a buffet lunch at a beautiful restaurant and visit one of Yucatan's impressive cenotes. There you will have time to swim and relax before we head back to The Ritz-Carlton, Cancun in the late afternoon.
